Also, I listed all the references to V Mars I made in the story. Whoot!
“I look like Manila Whore Barbie,” she stated wryly, stepping in front of him, “minus the crimped bleached-blonde hair, but with the right wig, y’know….”
Reference to "Ruskie Business" (episode 1.15 of V Mars) in which Veronica states "I look like Manilla Whore Barbie."
“…and how come every time a guy puts on a tux, he thinks he’s James Bond!?”
Reference to Veronica's desktop. Under a picture of Veronica and Duncan at the prom, she writes: All night long, he kept saying, "I'm Kane, Duncan Kane" Do all guys think they're James Bond every time they put on a Tuxedo?
“Hey, George, honest opinion: am I sparkly pink cotton or strapless red satin?” She held up two outfits—one being a pink halter covered in silver sequins the dragged on the floor, the other a bold red strapless dress which, for her height, might reach her knees if worn appropriately.
Reference to "Wrath of Con" (episode 1.4) in which, in a flashback, Lilly tells Veronica she's "strapless red satin, not pink cotton" (I may have the wording wrong, but it was something to that effect).
It was completely impossibly the teenage girl standing on front of him in torn fishnet tights, black platform heels, a poofy black miniskirt, crop top, and crimped platinum-blonde hair was his niece. Sure, she was the same height and had the same eye-color, but certainly her mother—or at least her father—would never have released her dressed that way!
Also references Veronica's outfit in "Ruskie Business" (episode 1.15).
“Wang Chung everybody!” a boy yelled, pushing past her, sounding more than a little intoxicated.
“Does Risky Business over there always dress like that?” George asked her, pointing to the junior wearing only a white collared shirt and sunglasses.
“Everybody Wang Chung!” he shouted, stumbling into the gym.
Also references "Ruskie Business" (episode 1.15) in which Logan arives at a school dance drunk dressed as Tom Cruise's character from Ruskie Business, violently demanding "Everybody Wang Chung tonight!"
Even as he left, she was still standing in front of the DJ, singing along with Blondie’s “One Way or Another”.
References the episode "Clash of the Tritons" (episode 1.12) in which Veronica sings "One Way or Another" when Duncan signs her up for karaoke.
“Wang Chung or I’ll kick your ass!”
Also references one of Logan's lines in "Ruskie Business" (episode 1.15).
And, if you're really smart, you might catch the reference to "Mars vs. Mars" (episode 1.14), but that wasn't really on purpose, and was really, really indirect.
Also, for the nickname "Lo", I'll give you two more hints: 1) It's from a book, and 2) here is the passage from which the nickname is taken:
“She was Lo, plain Lo, in the morning, standing four feet ten in one sock.…”
Anyone who knows is my new best friend. ;D

The entire paragraph - the second paragraph of the book - reads, and I'm quoting this from a website, so don't blame me if something is incorrect:
She was Lo, plain Lo, in the morning, standing four feet ten in one sock. She was Lola in slacks. She was Dolly at school. She was Dolores on the dotted line. But in my arms she was always Lolita.
Coincidentally, I haven't read the entire book yet.
